Thinking Dimensions

2010. 8 drawings. Graphite on paper, mounted on aluminium. 40 x 28 cm each drawing.

Exercise in thinking of dimensions larger and smaller then our own.

Petrie polygon projection graphs of n-cube are executed as pencil drawings.

These graphs are used in geometry for visualizing symmetric structures of the higher dimensional regular polytopes. In each drawing one dimension is added. Addition of lines unfolds further spaces, but rather then revealing higher dimensions visually, they seem to obscure them within the coded ornament.
